EREN-Meeting in Geneva
This year, once again, members of the European Real Estate Network (EREN) gathered for an inspiring and engaging exchange – this time set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Geneva. Eva and Peter Marschall were on site to discuss current and future developments in the European real estate market alongside their partners.
This year’s meeting took place in the elegant setting of the historic Golf & Country Club de Bonmont and marked two special anniversaries: the 20th anniversary of EREN and the 200th anniversary of our partner and host, the "Comptoir Immobilier Group".
The event began with a welcoming dinner in the club’s restaurant, creating a warm and atmospheric start.
On Tuesday morning, an intensive seminar followed, where current developments, challenges, and opportunities across the member countries were discussed. Our President proudly pointed out that together, EREN members represent over 665 years of combined experience in the real estate industry – with many of the companies operating successfully for decades, and some even for centuries.
A highlight of the accompanying program was the exclusive visit to the renowned De Bethune watch manufactory, offering fascinating insights into Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship and innovation. The evening concluded with a memorable dinner at the acclaimed "Baron Tavernier – The Deck" restaurant, with breathtaking views over Lake Geneva and the Lavaux vineyards.
Wednesday’s agenda included an exclusive real estate tour to two remarkable properties in the region:
The historic “Château de Trévelin” in the canton of Vaud, overlooking Lake Geneva and nestled in vast vineyards, and a stunning penthouse at Quai Wilson in the heart of Geneva. The penthouse boasts over 400 sqm of living space, an 80 sqm rooftop terrace, and is available to rent for CHF 12,000 per day.
During a finger food lunch on the rooftop terrace – with a view of the iconic Jet d’Eau – conversations ranged from real estate to forward-thinking visions and future trends. The day ended with an elegant dinner at the Hôtel d’Angleterre, followed by a heartfelt farewell gathering at the legendary Leopard Room Bar.
The entire meeting was accompanied by Tracey Atkins of Golden Eye Media, one of the world’s leading experts in real estate film and brand storytelling. Tracey and her team are producing a video portrait for EREN and filmed several of our members in exclusive interview sessions. With her remarkable experience – including the media staging of the legendary Onassis Estate, once home to Jackie Kennedy – she is setting international standards in real estate marketing.
The collaboration was not only inspiring but also a valuable impulse for the further development of our own brand presence in the digital space.
The meeting concluded on Thursday with an exclusive tour of the United Nations headquarters in Geneva – a powerful reminder of the global context in which we operate daily.
A heartfelt thank you to our hosts for the flawless organization and genuine hospitality. We are already looking forward to the next EREN meeting in Rome, 2026!
