In November 2011 the shell construction of the Hotel The Chedi Andermatt should be completed, until the end of 2011 a third of the altogether 46.000 square metres big Podium should also be completed – it forms the constructive Basis for the on-top construction of 42 apartment houses, 5 Hotels, restaurants and shops. The first golf-fairways and greens have already been seeded: Playing on the 18-hole golf course should start 2013.

As Andermatt Swiss Alps states, construction contracts with a volume of 55 Million Swiss francs were granted in 2011. Further construction contracts with a volume of 60 Million Swiss francs will be awarded in the next few weeks. Despite of the strong Swiss franc, purchase contracts of 53 million Swiss francs were sealed in the first half of the year 2011; reservation contracts exist by end of June with a volume of 22,5 Million Swiss francs. In the second half of this year the building permit for the first 4 houses, the first Villa and for the golf clubhouse will be expected to be granted.

By the end of this year the building permit for the the Hotel Radisson Blu, the sportcenter, the valley station with the new combination of gondolas and cable railway Andermatt-Nätschen-Gütsch as well as the pedestrian and skiing subway, will be handed in.
